Apparently this drug will affect the immune system and it is a big possiblity that if he gets an infection while on the drug it will kill him.
So seems a catch 22 situation to me. Still if he's gonna pop off anyway then I guess might as well try it.
Still gotta few more tests to go before its clear whether he can get on the trial or not.
I really should finish off packing to get to Uncles.
Walsall have signed the legend that is Mark Kinsella.
Will be checking out to see if I can make their clashes against Wednesday next season! I'm gonna hunt him down and demand autographs/and or picture!
....
Walsall away - 11 sept
Walsall home - 26th dec.
.....
Walsall away could be a possibilty then.
Will have to consult MH about funds and tickets.

Christ its hot...
Pity poor lickle ole me, who will be stuck in trousers and T-shirts and wellies and socks (i hate socks when its warm) working hard. Also pity me as I will from tomorrow, be getting up at 6 to get to work till 5, no weekends off for me!
I could easily go off my voles at this rate.
Almost ready to go to Uncles now, more or less packed.
I was so excited about telling about my UFO yesterday I forgot to tell about Jena's Bitch.
She only sent a threatening text to MH telling her to leave him alone and that they know where she lives in Sheff.
Even though MH has stressed lots of times in front of her that there is nothing going with her and Jena anymore, yeah I can see both sides of the story but that just seems like a stupid, pathetic childish thing to do
Today Dad got a letter from the Marsden Cancer Hospital asking him to go up for an appointment today, I'm not sure if this is in regards to the trial drug or that Guy's has referred him over.
If I get time before I go, I'll say what the outcome is.

Hold on
Don't be scared
You'll never change what's been and gone
May your smile (may your smile)Shine on (shine on)
Don't be scared (don't be scared)
Your destiny may keep you warm
Cause all of the stars are fading away
Just try not to worry
You'll see them some day
Take what you need and be on your way and stop crying your heart out

A big HELLO and hug to Charlton Lass who has read my blog and kindly left a comment!
I'm very chuffed and pleased, it means a lot that she did leave a comment, (my 2nd one ever!) esp as she knows what I am going through.
Hope I didnt depress/bore you too much!

Ok so LF let me down, well not really, I don't blame him for rather going on a date than spending time round Jena's house where The 17yr old Bitch will be (explanation later)
But He has credit, he knows what the sit is with me, Dad-wise, he has not yet bothered to text saying he's sorry, I don't care, I'm not looking for sympathy, BUT I have text him a few times and He has not bothered to reply. I do feel let down and hurt. But still I had a fairly good time. Catching up with MH, even though I did get upset explaining how I feel that I can't move to Sheff, she insists I can, I still feel like it is running away, but I am seriously considering the option.
Dad is possibly fingers crossed going on a Trial 2 drug, which basically means him being transferred to the Marsden Cancer hospital and being a guinea pig.
I have spent today catching voles for the I.S. Am moving to Uncle J tomorrow, ready for wed. I have to be there for 8am, meaning possible 6am starts, for 2 weeks, including weekends, now as most people know, this is going to be a problem for me.
Am also scared that as I know fuck all about voles and plants I will be caught out and made to look stupid. Possibly by poisoning them...
As this means I will be away from computer and internet access I expect this to result in 67 emails, only 3 of which are not spam and for Charlton to sell Deano for 50p or something like that.
See whenever I have not written something has happened. Spotty bollocked off, Rufus and Rowett have both retired and as I was leaving for Fulham I discovered that Claus Jensen has buggered off to Fulham.
So whatever disaster happens I can take full responsibility for it.
Also while I was in York we saw a UFO.

I can't be bothered to write an account of it, so here is me and The Hunter investigating it on MSN Messenger:

omeone Save me! Project Vole is now underway. How badly will I be able to cock it up? says:
i saw a UFO! it was freaky and mental
MercMH says:
right
MercMH says:
wot made it so i was unidentifiable
MercMH says:
and where u see it?
Someone Save me! Project Vole is now underway. How badly will I be able to cock it up? says:
in York this weekend.
Someone Save me! Project Vole is now underway. How badly will I be able to cock it up? says:
it was about 10pm
MercMH says:
York is a big place city / outskirts
MercMH says:
give me a location for ufo
Someone Save me! Project Vole is now underway. How badly will I be able to cock it up? says:
outskirts, little town type place called "" and we were arseing about and saw a brighter patch of sky, like some sort of smoke cloud, but it wasn't a cloud cos it was perfectly round
Someone Save me! Project Vole is now underway. How badly will I be able to cock it up? says:
so we figured it was a light from somewhere, plane something sensible like that, except there was no sign of a light beam behind it
Someone Save me! Project Vole is now underway. How badly will I be able to cock it up? says:
the ball moved to the left, i thought it might be a comet, or shooting star or something sensible like that or just a cloud
Someone Save me! Project Vole is now underway. How badly will I be able to cock it up? says:
shape stayed the same, carried on moving left, then started moving right, slowly, then moved back left again
Someone Save me! Project Vole is now underway. How badly will I be able to cock it up? says:
then whizzed right really quickly
Someone Save me! Project Vole is now underway. How badly will I be able to cock it up? says:
and back to where it had started from, then started to get a bit bigger and almost like it was coming towards us, except it couldn't have been
Someone Save me! Project Vole is now underway. How badly will I be able to cock it up? says:
then it vanished
Someone Save me! Project Vole is now underway. How badly will I be able to cock it up? says:
it was freaky
MercMH says:
FACT
a large % of siting are military aircraft
the US govenment practically made up UFOs to cover up there spy planes and stealth bomber

Someone Save me! Project Vole is now underway. How badly will I be able to cock it up? says:
it wasn't a plane.
MercMH says:
what u see in the sky now as in military aircraft is ruffly 15year old technology a fair number of sitting could well be top secret aircraft etc
MercMH says:
but lets cheak the more reasonable first
MercMH says:
weather conditions
Someone Save me! Project Vole is now underway. How badly will I be able to cock it up? says:
dark! hehe, no was a fairly clear night, few clouds, but dark clouds, and none in this patch of sky
MercMH says:
cloud type
Someone Save me! Project Vole is now underway. How badly will I be able to cock it up? says:
straggly, long and thin
MercMH says:
hum
MercMH says:
direction moving from u?
Someone Save me! Project Vole is now underway. How badly will I be able to cock it up? says:
we didn't hear any noise, was in a room, was moving to my left then reversing back on itself
MercMH says:
colour
Someone Save me! Project Vole is now underway. How badly will I be able to cock it up? says:
not quite white, perhaps grayish.
MercMH says:
shape
Someone Save me! Project Vole is now underway. How badly will I be able to cock it up? says:
round.
MercMH says:
perfect or ?
Someone Save me! Project Vole is now underway. How badly will I be able to cock it up? says:
sorta blurry round the edges, but reasonably perfect
MercMH says:
time
Someone Save me! Project Vole is now underway. How badly will I be able to cock it up? says:
between 10-20ish-30ishpm.
MercMH says:
direction u were looking
Someone Save me! Project Vole is now underway. How badly will I be able to cock it up? says:
i dunno
MercMH says:
that's not helpful
Someone Save me! Project Vole is now underway. How badly will I be able to cock it up? says:
we were in north Yorkshire though!
MercMH says:
think were the sun rose or set
Someone Save me! Project Vole is now underway. How badly will I be able to cock it up? says:
i didn't see either, but I'd make a guess at perhaps south west
---a lot later----
MercMH says:
well the colour is almost a military gray but location and direction u saw i in almost certainly rules that out weather conditions cant think of any in that colour
MercMH says:
round things don't fly very well though so not much uses of them
MercMH says:
il leave it as an unidentified object
Someone Save me! Project Vole is now underway. How badly will I be able to cock it up? says:
yay!
Someone Save me! Project Vole is now underway. How badly will I be able to cock it up? says:
i did see a UFO! i did! i did!

I feel stupidly proud. Am now awaiting the alien invasion as seen in "Signs". Am preparing tinfoil hats and leaving glasses of water in Convenient places.

Well I guess only charlton could lose 3-2 after being 2-1 up.
Still it is only a friendly, and I suppose the heat and shit can be used as a pretty reasonable excuse.
Ah well, I might go have a nap, then do some work.
Well after getting confused and staying up till midnight thinking I would be able to listen to the Charlton/Jianlibao game, I discovered that it was actually 12 DINNERTIME.
Pah.
So went to bed at half past three and then was up again by half nine. yes half nine. To get to Sidcup station to book tickets for tomorrow's adventure.
Dad and Mum were going to get them at London Bridge after the check up at the hospital but the queue was too long and Blackheath Train station said I had a better chance of getting a seat at Sidcup, it being a main station.
So anyway. I now have tickets.
Charlton are 2-1 up against Jianlibao, with Kish of all people scoring and Bartlett scoring the second.
We're doing ok in The Cricket, being 158-1 against the Windies.
I should be doing work for the voles, but cba at the mo, maybe after full time. I really only need to find out what I can feed them with, apparently my vole book has been cancelled by amazon as they can't get hold of it. The bastards.

Cool. While still sulking over not getting to see Welling or being able to afford China, I have discovered Park View Road! I can see the end where We all shouted for Chrissy to Score a penalty.
The other end at the high street end, where we watched Steve Brown start a run from one end to the pitch to another to score (or did he pass to someone else to score? - I don't remember, just that he was absolutely shattered by the end of it!)
It brings back memories of watching Matty Svensson break his arm twice, of after match pitch invasions and warm saturday afternoons while the new football season seems tantalisingly close now.
I can't wait. Can't wait for Saturday when I can see my first preseason, York Vs Wednesday, cant wait for catching up with MH, LF and Jena.
and only a few weeks till August and my birthday when Charlton will take on Bolton away!
Adrien the guy from vanborough Health clinic came round today, did go and say Hello to him, it was only polite.
Reminded us that their are ppl around if we need to talk.
I dont need to talk to strangers, I know whats going to happen and how bad it can get, although I know it will be worse this time and I know that I will be coming home after uni too although I do not want too.
I am ready for this and I am preparing for it, although it would be wrong to say I am not scared. I am.
I am shit scared.

Scotland was great fun, I was really unsure about going away as I didnt know if I would be in the right frame of mind for going away, and how I'd get on with the Twins mates.
But I did, I have two of their numbers and hopefully am going to keep in touch with them, we had lots of adventures in Monarch of the Glen Country, (Kingussie - its a very pretty and scenic place and I'd recommend it to anyone.)
From losing the exhaust of the twins car to having the wing mirror snapped off by a renagade pheasant smashing into it.
To the Cottage having no hot water or heating so getting moved to a Fawlty Towers kinda B&B.
We went mountineering up a 458 foot hill, went rowing and Kayaking, lots of walks, even hunting the Loch Ness Monster!
Went shopping in Inverness and brought Donnie Darko for £3! which is ace, Dogma for £4.99 and Dangermouse for £3.99 and Two Monty Python films for a tenner!
Can't believe I missed the Welling friendly, I had E texting me the results at half and full times and I wish I'd been there, first time I've missed that in 3 years!
And what's going on with Carlton Cole? I thought he was meant to stay for another year as part of the Spotty Parker deal, then I get on the Internet and find he's buggered of to Villa?
I hope we get some money or another decent player instead, wouldn't mind Joe Cole...
Been swopping money over into my Student Loan account to make the overdraft seem a bit more respectable and went to see if PC world could fix my computer, which they cant (dicks)
Then MH text asking if I fancied going to York for the Weekend to see the York city/Sheff Weds friendly and meeting up with Jena and LF - of course I was up for that so hopefully will be getting train tickets tomorrow and NOT have to go all the way to Sidcup to get them!
Rang Vole lady and all seems arranged for me to go to play with them on Monday and move in with Uncle J for two weeks while I get it sorted.
Tomorrow, I must remind Dad that I have a letter to type up for him and I must do some sort of research into what Voles eat!

Monday, July 19, 2004

Man, you go away for a few days and look what happens!
Had a nice time, will tell all about it later, at the mo, I am recovering from 5 hours of travelling on GNER.
I need a radoxy bubble bath and a chill.
BRB!

Just before I piss off to Bonnie Scotland...
Isn't "Cannonball" by Damien Rice, just one of the most beautiful songs ever written?
I love it and It goes in my top 10 of favourite tunes*, somewhere alongside Queen's "Those were the days."
* To my eternal shame Britney Spears' "sometimes" is also in there. I know I should really seek therapy.
Dude.
The biggest thunder clap has just gone off.
Respect to the Cloud dude.
Lets hope its all over by the time I leave tomorrow.
We're all going on a Summer Holiday!!
Well ok, only I am.
And I'm only off to Scotland for 10 days.
I'm packed - just need to pack me shampoo and shite, but that can be done in the morning.
The big problem was what the weather is going to be like, today has been vile, wet and windy.
Will Scotland be the same?
I packed 4 t-shirts, including my charlton shirt, spreading the word even further north than normal!
But i did pack many more warmer jumpers.
Am kinda looking forward to it, I like the twins, but I'm shy around new people, although uni has helped so not sure how I'll get on with their other mates.
I'm going to see their sheep and doggies too, which will be cool.

Today we went to see my Nan, This is Dad's mum, he still hadn't told her about being sick, or more precisely how sick he is.
She didn't seem to surprised, I think Aunt R. had already got to her, still at least this time she said hello to me, most of the time she blanks me.

Take pity on me, I'm spending 3 and a half hours on a grotty train - GNER are one of the worst i've travelled on and i've been on Pennine Expresses!
Still I have Harry Potter to keep me company, oooh as far as York.
Dunno what I'll do about the 4 hours its going to take coming back down to London.
Probably sleep or re-read my book.
Might even pluck up the courage to ring someone to have a chat to on the phone.
My phone phobia is kicking in again and unless I do something, I will be reduced to the quivering wreck I was before when ever the phone rang.

Tuesday, July 06, 2004

I was walking down to see my mum after work to go shopping for the prezzies, when I met the Lollipop man at the corner of Charlton Road, near the zebra crossing on Charlton House.
I felt so priviliged when he stopped traffic just for me.
For me!
Hehehehe.
Then I wondered if it was cos he felt I was as incapable of crossing the road as the schoolkids.
Then I thought that he probably mistook me for a schoolkid, seeing as most people do.
....
Oh well, A lollipop man helped me across the road, and I feel smug about it,
Although as Jitsu freak pointed out. "He probably feels like he needs to help you, seeing as London is full of crazed taxi drivers."
I then pointed out that Dad is a crazed taxi driver.
Vanbrugh Health Clinic just rang Dad.
They want him and Mum to talk things over, I guess to therapists and that kinda thing. It's things like that, that reminds you how serious the situation is.
Still Dad has a positive attitude and I'm trying to bounce off of that, keep positive myself.
Wonder how Mum will take therapists? Can't see her being too impressed.
Meanwhile.
England have reached 230-3 (All hail Freddie and Strauss as the Gods that they are), but as Dad points out, if we can do that, what can the West Indies do? Only 5 overs to go then we find out.
Dum-dum-dum!
Another Thrilling day here, To occupy myself and cheer meself up while I watch England lose at The Cricket again (86-3) I have been investigating websites.
Oh yes.
The fun never stops in our house.
For instance, did you know or even wonder if there was a www.www.com
Of course you didn't.
But there is.
However. www.com.com only sends you here.
I've also had an in depth and quite passionate argument with Dad - with childish name calling - over who lives in the Blue house in Balamory (It was Edie Mc Creadie as I kept telling him).
The Brat has gone for a job interview at Waterfront, and only 2 days till me holiday!
Going out tonight to get 21st B'day prezzies.
I've admitted defeat in my battle for links in a vain attempt to link back to the nice (foolish) people who have linked to me.
Blogger's instructions didn't make a blind bit of difference and I'm not computer-literate enough to do anything other than the EXACT instructions, so IF any kind soul out there DOES read this crock o' shit and would like to help a damsel in distress please do.
I'll just sit back now and twiddle me thumbs and hum while I wait vainly for offers of help...
Shall none be forthcoming as I doubt they will, I shall smile sadly and continue twiddling my thumbs, occasionally rocking back and forth in my padded cell.

Monday, July 05, 2004

Well. Last night was an all time record.
Went to bed at 3:10 was wide awake by 7, and dozed off and on till 11.
Surely my 30 min power nap during the day shouldn't have given me that effect?

Sunday, July 04, 2004

Being a Charlton Supporter generally means you support the underdogs, I guess that's another reason why I go to Sheff Weds games as well.
But I am so pleased Greece won tonight.
Screw Holland, Portugal, Spain, the Czechs, Italy.
Fuck Germany and France.
If England can't win, I'm always there cheering on the likes of Latvia, Bulgaria and Greece.
Made up for us losing The Cricket.
By the way. I fucking love Dangermouse, it is THE funniest kids TV show ever, in fact once all this spyware shit is off the computer I'm going to look on Amazon and see if its availible on DVD or video.
AND i fixed my bubble tube, ok i did get soaked doing it
*mental note* turn the power off before next time.

HEHE.
I overheard my Dad talking on the phone to my brother's Godfather yesterday.
"Oooh that Henry, He's got beautiful balls he has, really puts them about."
I had to leave the room I was giggling that much, kinda spoiled the joke though, me having to explain what I thought was so funny to The Brat.
England Vs New Zealand in The Cricket, Andy "Freddie" Flintoff, just got his 100,
Euro 2004 final tonight (Come on Greece!!)
And flicking over during the ads to see how Button is doing in the F1.
Yup, I'm having a good day.
And I have a holiday on Thursday to Look forward too.

Friday, July 02, 2004

*Breaking news!*
According to Sky Sports News Kezman has signed for Chelsea.Yet another reason to hate them.
The Bastards!
Sky have been fiddling with the fixture lists again.
Charlton Vs Southampton has been moved to Monday night but that's ok, cos i'm reckoning that i'll still be in London by the 13th.
But us at home to Blackburn on the 27th? - I'm normally in Derby by then.
Sunday the 17th of October, home to Newcastle, again, I'll be in Derby.
Liverpool away on the 23rd? Wasn't really planning on going to that one so that could be ok, I'll forgive them for that one.
Palace away on the 5th December!!!!! NOOOOOO!!! I was definately planning on going to that one!
Charlton v Fulham on the 20th - possibly maybe home by then.

Hmm, all my hopes are fixed on my timetable, I think Aquatic Biology is a Monday afternoon, so Sunday games *COULD* be a possiblity.
Fingers crossed that I get Tuesday's off and I could race home for Monday night games.

HHMMM 8pm?
Say I get a train at 6?
Naaah wouldn't make Kick off. I'd get to Charlton by 9pm.
BOLLOCKS!!!
If I left at 5 it would be a push but I might just make it, as long as the trains weren't delayed for anything.
But lectures go till 5.
Buggery bollocky trampwank.

Thursday, July 01, 2004

Its ok we can all breathe easy - not that we weren't anyway.
Rommedahl HAS signed.
I'm determined to do something constructive with my insommnia and create links and I shall create links.
I WANT F£$%ING LINKS!!!!!!!

Somehow I have managed to scrape a B- in mammalian reproduction, but all my other modules were D's as normal.
Failed Nat processes but I knew that seeing as I walked out after 45 mins.
Today Curbs is supposed to be announcing two new signings, I hear that one is going to be Hughes from Birmingham and we're also linked with Gravesson from Everton and apparently the Rommedahl signing is in jeopardy, but I don't really believe any of that.
Meanwhile 3pm last night I got to sleep, and was up at 11 so that's better, the crickets on Sky so I'm going to watch that.
And Tim "The Robot" Henman is out of wimbledon - again.
